Experience the Magic of Ondeh-Ondeh - The Perfect Treat for Any Occasion!

There are any many local and traditional snacks in Singapore available. Ondeh-Ondeh is one of them.

Ondeh-ondeh is a traditional Southeast Asian dessert made of glutinous rice flour that is shaped into small balls and filled with palm sugar. The balls are then coated with coconut flakes and served as a sweet snack.

Ondeh-ondeh is often enjoyed during festivals and celebrations in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. The name "ondeh-ondeh" comes from the sound that is made when the balls are bitten into, as the hot, melted palm sugar filling squirts out.

Give it a try when you are there. Many shops offer them and Bengawan Solo, a famous local bakery sell them. They are pretty much everywhere. Please note this is not sponsored by Bengawan Solo, it would have lovely to get their sponsorship - I might get unlimited Ondeh-Ondeh for a year.

For your information.
